Smiti Holding and Trading Company Private Limited (Smiti) is a private limited company incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956. Smiti is a leading Non-Banking Finance Company registered with the Reserve Bank of India (“RBI”) and holds a registration certificate under the Category of Non-Deposit taking Systemically Important Core-Investment Company {NBFC (CIC-ND-SI)}.
Smiti is built on the pillars of Trust, Ethics, Law, and Knowledge. Shri. Jalaj Dani founded Smiti to carry on the business of an investment Company. Smiti is one of the Holding Company of Jalaj Dani Group which holds its investments in Companies of Diversified segments such as property development, real estate, Paints, fitness monitoring equipment, global robotic company, and a wide range of innovative and ranging products for people. Integrated shipping service etc.
The group companies involved in Financial, Manufacturing, Service, and others, at present Smiti is an Investment Company which holds investments in its various Group Companies.
Smiti is one of the promoters of Asian Paints Limited, the largest Paint Manufacturing company in the country and the second largest in Asia.
The main vision of the group is to diversify their investments into various segments, promote the start-up units and strengthen the Company’s various activities of investments for the long term.

Hydra Trading Private Limited is a private limited company incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act 1956.It is a wholly owned Subsidiary company of Smiti.

Asian Paints Limited, a Public Limited Company incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act 1956. It is the largest paint manufacturing Company of the Country. Smiti along with its promoter and group companies is forming part of Promoter group of Asian Paints Limited.

Mrs. Vita Jalaj Dani
Mrs. Vita Dani is an Active promoter of various sporting events in the country and is an entrepreneur and philanthropist who aims to make a substantial difference in the world through sports and philanthropic activities.

She is the co-owner of the Chennaiyin F.C. football team along with Mr. Abhishek Bachchan and Mr. MS Dhoni and her vision is to develop the sport of football in India by creating a world-class team. She is a hands-on team manager and is the silent force behind Chennaiyin FC’s two Indian Super League (ISL) titles (2015 and 2017-18).

She is the co-owner of Ultimate Table Tennis, an Indian league for Table Tennis, which provides an international platform to TT players and helps to raise the level of Indian TT players. She is also the Chairperson of 11SPORTS - a company formed to promote and develop Table Tennis in India. She is a patron of the Maharashtra State Table Tennis Association (MSTTA) & past President of the Mumbai City District Table Tennis Association (MCDTTA).

She is the Co-founder of ELMS Sports Foundation which focuses on improving physical literacy and raising the standards of sports in India. She is on the advisory board of Annamrita, a mid-day meal initiative by ISCKON and is also deeply involved with National Association for Blind (NAB).
Mr. Gokul Manjeshwar
Mr. Gokul Manjeshwar holds a Masters’ degree in Commerce majoring in cost accounting and a Master's degree in Management Studies majoring in Finance. He is an alumnus of the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. He has over 40 years’ experience in industry and management consulting which includes a stint in the management consulting practice of Price Waterhouse (currently known as Price Waterhouse Coopers). He worked in Asian Paints Limited, one of the top 10 paint companies in the world, for over 28 years and retired as its Financial Controller. He has also been a director on the Boards of Asian Paints listed and unlisted subsidiaries in Singapore, Jamaica, Thailand, Malaysia & U.K. He is currently an Independent Corporate Advisor and advises corporate, sports entities and ”not for profit" organisations. He also mentors students of the post graduate program in Family Managed Business at the S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Andheri, Mumbai
Mr. Hiren Gandhi
Mr. Hiren Gandhi has been in the hospitality business for 20 years. He is currently heading express group of hotels in Vadodara and Jamnagar. He has done his (BA) Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Business (Michigan State University).

He is also actively involved in managing “Muffins – Bakery & Confectionery”, Express Transport-Logistics & Crane Hiring Co. He is Founder Director of M/s Urban Pod Pvt. Ltd, India’s first Boutique Pod Hotel-2017.
Mr. Satyen Gandhi
Mr. Satyen Ashwin Gandhi is B.Com Graduate & MBA and had handled taxation matters, Management Consultancy, Internal Audit and Finance etc and his rich Knowledge and experience in operations as well complex management of Business as directors in other concerns will be beneficial to the Company.

Qualification: Bachelor of Commerce in 2003, MBA in FMB from S P Jain lnsititute of Management and Research in 2009
Leadership Roles: CII YI Vadodara as a Chapter Chair in 2019, Currently in the Executive Committee of Crane Owner Association of India (COAOI) for the past 2 years since 2018
Job Responsibility: Site Handling & ODC Transportation, Crane and MHE Rental.
Industry Experience: Over 17 years of experience in providing cranes/equipments for industrial &infrastructure projects, erection, maintenance & dismantling of plant & equipment’s. These services have been provided to various sectors of the industry including power, Steel Cement Industries, fertilizer, Chemical Plants & refineries.
Mr. Sohel Shikari
He is an Independent Director on the Board of Smiti Holding and possess qualifications B.E. (Civil)-VJTI (University of Bombay), M.S. (Civil & Environmental Engineering) (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) He is and(a company focused on developing healthy food businesses), and, a leading prepared foods company that was sold to Mars Inc. in 2017. of(consulting), (optical networking company) Associate at Goldman Sachs in the Global Controls and Information Technology Group.
